The Medical Ward
The infirmary in the basement is the larger of the villa’s two medical areas and was designed for highly realistic hospital and treatment scenarios. Divided into two interconnected rooms, it creates a versatile space capable of authentically recreating a variety of procedures and situations. Compared to the more compact clinic on the upper floor, the infirmary offers significantly more space, more extensive equipment, and a more open feel, allowing even longer or more intensive scenarios to be staged comfortably.
Upon entering, the infirmary immediately feels like a private medical facility with a clear layout and professional equipment. The first room serves as a patient room and, through its furnishings, conveys the impression of an inpatient ward or observation station. Among other things, it features an electrically adjustable hospital bed that can be flexibly adapted to various situations. The combination of medical furnishings, lighting, and technical accessories ensures that the room has a deliberately functional and clinical feel without appearing sterile or impersonal.
The equipment for restraint and control is particularly comprehensive. In addition to a special restraint bed, a complete Segofix system is also available, allowing for a wide range of scenarios—from calm examinations to significantly more intense situations. A straitjacket is also part of the infirmary’s equipment, expanding the possibilities to include additional realistic hospital and ward scenarios. The size of the room ensures sufficient freedom of movement, allowing even longer procedures to be carried out comfortably.
The second room is set up as an examination and treatment area and has a distinctly more technical feel. It features an electrically adjustable examination table with multiple motors, enabling various positioning options and making it highly versatile. In addition, a high-quality Schmitz brand GYN chair is available, which can also be used as a delivery chair. This opens up numerous possibilities, particularly for medically oriented role-playing, while also creating a particularly authentic overall impression.
The furnishings are complemented by various medical devices, including an ultrasound machine and the professional Erbe Erbogalvan e2 plus electrotherapy unit. Unlike purely decorative clinic rooms, the infirmary was deliberately designed with a focus on creating a credible and functional environment. The medical furniture and technical equipment blend harmoniously into the overall design, reinforcing the impression of a real ward rather than a simple set. The spacious design also provides ample room for longer procedures, detailed examinations, or quieter scenarios with a stronger focus on observation, treatment, and monitoring.
The location in the basement creates a secluded and discreet atmosphere, enabling undisturbed scenarios. At the same time, the spacious layout ensures that both areas appear harmoniously connected despite their different uses. While the first room is better suited for stationary or controlled situations, the second area is particularly suitable for examinations, treatments, or medical role-playing with a technical focus.
The infirmary thus combines spaciousness, functionality, and authentic furnishings in a unique way. Visitors who value immersive hospital role-play, professional furnishings, and versatile possibilities will find a space here that has been deliberately designed with great attention to detail and, thanks to its two clearly separated rooms, allows for numerous different scenarios.
